Katie posted something that REALLY hit home from me. It’s about the difference between motivation and determination. Every day I’ve been trying to find the motivation to get my workout in, when instead I need to just be determined to do it. I use to constantly blame lack of motivation for my reason to not exercise. After reading that post, I realized I don’t need motivation. Forget motivation. Just do it, as Nike says.
Also, I have to stop saying “IF I do this” and “I will try to do this”, I need to just do it and know that I will and be determined to do it.
I will finish the couch 2 – 5k.
I will become a runner.
