I didn’t work out Saturday, I was just going to consider that a rest day
but then yesterday, Sunday, I was heading to the gym but my tire was flat and I couldn’t get it fixed till
I woke up about 3pm and drove to the mechanic slowly with my red blinkers on to get a new tire,
then i went to the office at my apt. complex to see about buying a key to the gym so I can workout even when my car is inaccesible, but they said I have to pay with a check and I don’t have checks. So I guess I have to get a money order tomorrow. I just don’t want a car to be an excuse anymore, i was really upset yesterday when I couldn’t work out. I don’t have a home workout routine. Anyway, I will be getting the key to the gym tomorrow so there will be no more car as an excuse. No more multiple days off from exercise, especially while I’m in the middle of the Couch to 5k and trying to learn how to run. I’ll be happy when I learn to run outside, even though it’s hot. Then I will feel like I have rid myself of excuses.
Anyway, so after that instead of going to the gym, I went to get my hair done. I couldn’t take the twists anymore. I went to my hair stylist, Nikka, and she sewed the hair in.
To be honest, I don’t like it. The color is too light and blonde and I wanted it longer. I also wanted it pulled back off my face, but there was no way for her to do that without the tracks showing or using my real hair to cover them.
It is better than the twists though. Less work hopefully. Hopefully it will last 3 months too.
It took 4 hours to do my hair. I just got home and it’s 10pm. and I’m sleepy for some reason.
So I’ve had 3 days off with no exercise and I’m not happy about it. I’m trying to strengthen my lungs and I don’t think a long break from training is good for that.
I will definitely hit the gym tomorrow, come hell or high water
