Week 4 of my Weight Loss Journey Begins

Week4Today was the first day I tried pushing my exercise time to 2 hours. I split up the cardio.

First I did Week 2 Day 2 of the Couch to 5k. It’s getting easier. I don’t know if I’m ready for Week 3 but I think I’m getting there. That was 30 minutes.

Then I went to Body works. That was 1 hour. I go to 2 different LA Fitness locations so that I can do Bodyworks everyday. It’s whole body strength training. arm raises, shoulder raises, squats, lunges, tricep kick backs, bicep curls, balancing work, planks for core work, and ab work. I’m the only one in the class who doesn’t use weights. It’s still hard for me without weight. My arms and shoulders burn in the class. I also can’t do a plank. I tried really hard today but I just couldn’t hold myself up. I’ll keep trying till I can do it.

After class I got back on the treadmill and put the incline at 4.0. I walked for 30 minutes.

I think this routine is maintainable for me. So I’ll keep it like this for awhile until I get stronger and can run a whole 5k.

After class I went grocery shopping at Wal-Mart to get the food for my meal plan. I could not find any avocados. (I even drove to another grocery store and they didn’t have avocados either! I bought guacamole instead but I was bummed)

Well I decided to see what they had for workout clothes. Wal-Mart has cute workout clothes but the largest size was a 20. I’m a size 24. I decided to try a couple outfits on anyway, because I just love the bright colors.

As you can see the clothes are waaay too tight for me. My stomach is so big I look pregnant in these clothes.

But I decided to buy them anyway cause I love the bright colors. I think when I lose 20 lbs. I’ll be able to fit them and having them hanging where I can see them everyday will motivate me to workout everyday so I can finally fit into them and look cute at the gym.

The shirts were $5 and the shorts were $7. Two outfits for $26? Score!

I wear the same bra to the gym everyday. It’s this Enell bra that my mom bought for me a couple years ago. I need another workout bra but I’m like a size 46F. Where can I find a size 46f workout bra? I would get another Enell but they are $70! and I probably wont even be able to fit it in a couple months so I dont want to spend that much on a bra. I will spend like $20.

I think this week I’m going to get fitted for proper running shoes. I hope they have some cute ones in bright colors to match my new cute outfits.

Love your emphasis on the bra! I found these ones at target, C9 brand that I adore! Even dedicated a portion of blog to them: http://waitsandmeasurements.blogspot.com/2012/04/clothes-minded.html
