I love peaches.
My mom said when she was pregnant with me she ate alot of peaches and avocados. (My first word was “Cado” short for avocado)
I use to buy canned peaches all the time but now I eat fresh peaches instead.
So it comes to reason that I would not be able to resist the Chobani peach greek yogurt. As I mentioned previously they sent me 16 oz cups of it. My plan was to eat 1/2 of it which is considered 1 serving. That was the plan. So I ate half of it and put it back in the fridge. Then I kept getting up and going to the fridge and eating another spoon of it. The chunks of peach in it was irresistable. Eventually I gave up my will power and just ate the rest of it. 16 ounces of peach greek yogurt in one day. It was definitley overkill. I like it better than ice cream now though so its my dessert.
This morning I walked 4.3 miles with my 10k training group from the Runners Den. Burned like 350 calories. Afterwards we went to Luci’s for our after workout breakfast. I had a omelet that had chicken chorizo in it. It wasn’t as good as I was hoping it would be, I think I wanted it to taste more “chorizo-ey”. I ate half of it. Then I went to Bodyworks. Burned 250 calories.
I don’t want to harp on this too much but I gained 3 lbs this week. I noticed it the day after I went out with my boyfriend last Wednesday night and had a shrimp quesadilla. My calories for that day was like 3000. Since then I’ve kept my calories at around 1800, with 2000 being the goal, and I’ve been working out over a hour each day. Worked out for 2-1/2 hours yesterday and today. The 3 lbs have NOT budged. My official weigh in day is tomorrow and I hope that I trend back downwards. It’s very frustrating to be trying to FIX a mistake instead of progressing. That’s what bothers me the most about this. I seriously thought I was going to cry. I definitely learned my lesson. I wont go out after I’ve taken my Geodon meds because it makes me really sleepy and crave fattening foods.
This week in general I ate out alot. I had chicken wings on two nights I think, I had a low calorie turkey sandwhich from Subway, I had sushi. I only ate above my caloric range on Wednesday night though. I haven’t started carrying my food with me yet, but I really need to. I just don’t understand…. am I supposed to eat my food cold when I bring it with me? cause I’m not near a microwave sometimes. So I would be eating cold broccoli, spinach and chicken. That’s the reason I haven’t started packing my cooler. I’m not sure what to bring with me.
