Yesterday I forgot to pack my post workout protein shake and I was hungry. When I get hungry I desperately stop at the first fast food place I can find.
I do not deal with hunger well at all.
PLUS I was on my way to Costco which almost always means I’m going to eat the cheap $1.50 hot dog meal that you get at the Costco food court. I was really nervous that I would sabotage my 10 days of clean eating streak.
Almost stopped at Burger King then passed up McDonalds and kept my eyes open for any restaraunt when I saw a Subway.
I like Subway cause you can pick out your own ingredients. I had the new double chicken chopped salad, no cheese, no croutons, I chose spinach, tomatoes, red onion, green pepper, black olives and grilled chicken. I had it with a dab of oil and lots of red wine vinegar. I did drink it with a Zero Calorie vitamin water – lemonade flavor. Total came to $10 but I was just so happy I didn’t eat a fried fish sandwhich from Burger King or a chicken sandwhich from McDonalds. AND I passed up the Costco food court cause I was already full.
I think it’s starting to get easier to make good choices.
