Also another update, me and my mom joined the Texas Fit Chicks . I was at a bar on Tuesday chugging down very strong margaritas and talking to this random girl who was sitting next to me. I told her about the lifestyle changes I’m making lately and she told me about this local group called Texas Fit Chicks. It’s so weird cause my mom had just told me that morning to find a way for us to exercise. My local chapter of the Texas Fit Chicks have a exercise boot camp 3 nights a week. They also give you a 30 day meal plan. It’s a kinda expensive membership but I found a groupon for $49 to try it out for a month. The meal plan looks interesting, it gives you recipes and a grocery list and options for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
I’m not gonna lie to you, I’m a little scared of the bootcamp. I am so out of shape and I have asthma, I just don’t want to die right now. I contacted the trainer and told her I am over 300 lbs and out of shape and she said don’t try to keep pace with the rest of the group, if I’m dying go at half the reps that she calls for.
My therapist gave me homework today. He just wants me to drink more water and log it in to My Fitness Pal and show it to him next time we have therapy. He said if I drink something sugary like coke cola then have the same amount in water. I think that’s a good plan. I definitely don’t drink enough water.
Lastly, I started taking that medicine that Dr. Nowzaradan prescribed and today was the first day that I didn’t have ANY sugar cravings. I am shocked. If I can go without eating lots of sugar, I think I will lose weight. We’ll see if today was just a fluke or not.
