I gained 1.6 pounds. I don’t know how you gain weight on less than 2000 calories a day. I gotta reevaluate what I am eating. Mom says “remember you’ve been working out and gaining muscle”. People don’t realize you can’t gain muscle that fast. It takes months and months to gain muscle. Definitely not 1 week. I’m at a loss. This is the kind of thing that would push me to eat junk in the past. I feel like, what’s the point? I’m not progressing. Thank goodness for this medicine, I don’t want my usual junk food. Gotta push through.

Breakfast: 1 cup skim milk, 1 cup raisin bran (270 calories)

Lunch: Philadelphia roll, california roll, 4 oz. coke (820 calories)

Dinner: Chocolate covered cherry yogurt (150 calories)

Total = 1230 calories

    Don’t be discouraged! That could easily be water weight 🙂 If you had more salt or water than normal, it could just be that. Or if you are about to have your period, your body will automatically hold onto extra water. Go for a walk or do some yoga/stretch and stay on track! You got this!

    Hey Vicki, I’ve followed your blog on and off for years and wish you the best of luck. FYI, I had bariatric surgery–a VSG–in January 2015 and I had to do a six month prior “diet” thingy in order to get my insurance company to approve it, so let me know if you want a fellow traveler’s viewpoint on this. I typed out my story but it was turning into the post that ate another person’s blog, so I deleted it, LOL!
